This morning Chávez and Ortega had a working meeting in Caracas during which, according to sources, the Venezuelan president invited the president elect of Nicaragua to accompany him to Brazil. Chávez had a dinner planned later with the president of Brasil, Lula da Silva. The president of Ecuador would also arrive in Brasilia. And they plan to continue to Buenos Aires where on Friday they will be received by the Argentine president, Néstor Kirchner. And then, along with Tabaré Vázquez of Uruguay, they would that same day depart for the the Bolivian city of Cochabamba, for a weekend summit: “la II Cumbre Sudamericana,” lead by the hosting president, Evo Morales.
